An American wedding often becomes a family affair right from the start. Once the bride and groom agree to marry,
they rush to tell their families the great news. They are excited about the prospects and want to share their joy
with those that are closest to them.

An American wedding starts with a ceremony of love and commitment. This is usually a romantic ritual with all of
the friends and family there to witness the happy union. The bride and groom say vows to show their love and
commitment in the course of the ceremony. The setting is often spectacular, and the wedding party is dressed in
beautiful clothes. At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom are legally bound by this commitment. The
American wedding is romantic, but also a legal procedure to bind the couple until death or divorce do they
part.

the reception that has been planned for months, maybe more than a year, in advance. The reception is a time to eat,
drink and socialize with old and new friends and acquaintances. The festivities center on the wedding couple, and
the guests have the opportunity to offer their good wishes and wedding gifts. American weddings are wonderful
occasions with joy and happiness for all.
